This book contains new thinking and analysis from leading thinkers on patient and public involvement in health. It is a collaboration between Involve and the NHS Centre for Involvement and includes contributions from Anna Coote, Harry Cayton, Angela Coulter and Albert Weale. It is aimed at a wide audience, including those who are new to the field of health involvement.
The arena of involvement in health and social care is a vitally important one, both for the long-term sustainability of our public services and for the health and well-being of individuals. Involve and the NCI hope that this publication can play a part in fostering a more durable and effective environment for involvement.
