Armchair Involvement

Involve were commissioned by the NHS Institute to run the Armchair Involvement research project in 2007. With the input of a number of key thinkers from across technology, involvement and healthcare the report and practical guide was produced. This work has now been turned into a series of webpages hosted on the NHS Institute site.

It is important to open up the work to comment and input at this point as this research is just the beginning of a process of learning and sharing of experience and information on how new technologies can best be used to involve people in healthcare.

There are two main ways to input into the Armchair Involvement site - by sharing your own projects and experiences -  no matter what stage of development you are at, or by commenting on the findings and themes in order to improve and update the work.

Research reccomendations can be found here.

Please contact alice@involve.org.uk or, sam.hudson@institute.nhs.uk  to find out more about the future of the Armchair Involvement work.
