Help Arts Council England create a vision for public libraries of the future by taking part in and sharing this online survey: http://bit.ly/PF9E5B

Involve and Dialogue by Design are working with Arts Council England to explore the public’s opinions on the purpose and value of public libraries.

This fits into Arts Council England’s programme of research and debate – Envisioning the library of the future – which will help them to develop a long-term vision for public libraries in England. This research began in February 2012 and the findings are due to be published later in 2012.

Over September, we designed and facilitated workshops in four locations around England (involving 160 participants – a mix of active users, lapsed users and non users) to delve into the value of libraries for communities.

Now, we are gathering views via an online survey and we’d like your help in finding more people to take part. If you can share this link with your networks as widely as possible it will make a real difference.

The website is open for receiving comments until Sunday 21 October 2012.
