By Clive Mitchell

Clive Mitchell is Programme Manager at Involve. He is based in the West Midlands and has 30 years experience of working in and with local authorities.

Involve is working with Leeds Beckett University and various partners across Europe to deliver a project that aims to help small and medium-sized businesses to be more sustainable and resilient. Part of the EU’s Lifelong Learning Programme, the project is funded with support from the European Commission. It will use deliberative engagement methods to engage business leaders in developing solutions to some of the complex problems they face. The project aims to create self-sustaining and collaborative communities across businesses and the Higher Education sector. You can visit the project website here.

Involve will be leading on the deliberative engagement elements of the project, which will include preparing a suite of engagement tools that can be used more widely by businesses and business leaders. The project will run through to early 2016. For more information please contact clive@involve.org.uk
