Between December 2007 and December 2008 Involve worked with the Ministry of Justice's Democratic Engagement Branch to offer teams  across central government the opportunity to access expert participation practitioners to assist with the design and delivery of public engagement exercises. The Participation Partners project provided free tailored assistance in planning, designing, delivering and evaluating public engagement exercises. Services includes identifying and explaining the benefits of appropriate tools and the type of resources required, and offered those with little or no experience of public engagement a unique opportunity to build capacity and skills by gaining real experience in a supported way.
