Dear Citizen

I joined the NHS Citizen team as the Programme Director in July 2015. It has been an exciting time helping to get the citizen voice heard and I look forward to hearing from many more citizens over the coming weeks and months via our online Gather forum. My reasons for joining the programme were to help create a step change in how services are delivered by the NHS and also help re-define how citizens view themselves and think about their relationship with the NHS. We all think about our rights but we also need to think about our responsibilities in using and shaping the NHS.
