Deliberative processes can have a profound impact on decisions, strategy, mindsets and an organisation’s ability to make change, but more could be done to explore their lasting impacts. Deliberation Unpacked is a new series that invites commissioners, practitioners and participants to share insights from their experience. Each session in our Unpacked series will shine light on a different deliberative process where we’ll hear from guests on the impact of their activity.
Join us for our first session as we hear from the people behind MH:2K, a powerful project that engaged young people in conversations about mental health in their local area. In this session, we’ll explore the routes to some of the impressive impacts that the project achieved, including:
- Positive feedback from decision-makers
- Personal growth among young participants
- Increased awareness and confidence in the community
- New collaborative efforts
- Commitments to implementing project recommendations
Date: 18th March 2025
Time: 5-6pm
Whether you're a prospective commissioner, a decision-maker, an engaged member of the public, or a campaigner, this event is for anyone curious about the power of participation and deliberation.
