Involve is at the forefront of changing our democracy. Combining innovative, high-quality practice with making a clear case for a democracy fit for the 21st century, we are showing exactly what our democratic future holds.

As Project Administrator you will play a key role in our team, working together to build a vibrant democracy, where people are at the heart of decision-making. There are two parts to this role. The first part, and a majority of your week, will focus on supporting a flagship project for Involve - the Democracy Network. This is a new, exciting and fully funded initiative whose focus is to connect people working on issues of power and democracy to increase our understanding and effectiveness, take action together, and lead on issues to build a stronger democracy. The second part is to support Involve’s communications function by ensuring the organisation also communicates clearly with stakeholders and wider audiences.

To succeed in the role, you will be an outstanding and detail oriented administrator who has excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills. You will show lots of initiative, be a strong team player whilst also being able to work autonomously, as well as have a passion for our mission. You will ensure the Network has excellent administrative procedures, well organised network activities, communicates clearly with members and stakeholders, and has robust stakeholder management systems.

We are flexible in terms of either working from home, or working hybrid from home and a physical office. We have physical offices in London and Belfast which are always available to work in, but we can also find a more convenient hot-desk office location for you if required. The successful candidate must be able to travel to attend both Network and Involve meetings when necessary. This travel will not be every week, but it will be fairly regular.
