Edward Andersson, Deputy Director of Involve, reflected on where engagement is heading in a time of Localism and Austerity, looked at creative methods of engagement and gave advice on when and how they should be used.
If you missed it – or liked it so much you want to see it again – here is a recording of the full webinar.
You can also flick through or download the slides from Edward’s presentation:presentations from InvolveFoundation.
The next webinar, to be held on 2nd March, will be on a problem solving approach within communities called Positive Deviance. Jane Lewis, from Woodward-Lewis and Susan Ritchie, an Involve associate and director of Mutual Gain, will give an introduction to the method – which is based on the observation that through their uncommon (or deviant) behaviour some individuals and groups within communities develop better solutions to problems than others – explain how it works and when to use the approach.
