Anna is an experienced strategic adviser with over 18 years' public affairs experience. She has a track record of building trusted partnerships to deliver change with stakeholders across Westminster, business and civil society.
Most recently, Anna was a Partner at Hanbury Strategy, where she was part of the team which scaled the business from a start-up to an established consultancy. She spent over six years at PwC as Head of Political Relations and then Head of Reputation. She advised the firm’s clients on Brexit and political risk and worked with the Executive Board to navigate complex regulatory and political challenges.
During the pandemic, Anna led the Covid Recovery Commission, convening senior business leaders and civic society to examine the impact of the crisis on people in the UK and make policy recommendations. The reports found cross-party and regional support and influenced the Labour Party’s ‘missions’.
Anna has a particular interest in bridging divides and building understanding between different communities. She founded 'A Normal Family', a project collecting and sharing family stories to challenge assumptions about what constitutes 'normal' in modern Britain.
