Sue Tibballs, OBE

Chief Executive

Sue Tibballs, OBE, is an experienced chief executive who has spent thirty years
working at the intersection of politics, civil society, purpose-driven business and
social change. 

Until January 2025, she was CEO of the Sheila McKechnie
Foundation (SMK), the charity that supports and champions campaigners. Previous
senior roles include CEO of Women in Sport (WiS); Projects Director at the Foresight
Factory, a global consumer trends agency; and Women’s Affairs Campaigner at The
Body Shop.
 
Sue is a former chair of the Fawcett Society and the campaigning platform 38
Degrees, and is currently chair of Youthsayers, a charity in South East London that
provides opportunities for young people to play and perform music.
Sue was awarded an OBE for ‘services to sport’ in the 2014 New Year’s Honour’s list
and has an Honorary Degree from Liverpool Edge Hill University for ‘services to
women’s health’.
