Dr Alison Chisholm

Dr Alison Chisholm is a researcher in the Department of Primary Care and a Research Associate at the Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation at Kellogg College at the University of Oxford. She has a background in psychology and health services research and, prior to that, worked in mental health and as a joiner’s apprentice.

Her current research interests lie in the potential for deliberative democracy and deep listening approaches to address thorny policy issues relating to climate change and health inequalities. She is particularly interested in ways through disagreements and community polarisation that arise in response to the introduction of transport and travel policies.
